We know that sending your child off to ‘big school’ can be an emotional time for parents and we want to equip you with the security of knowing you have done everything to prepare your child ahead of time.
In this FREE workshop we look at the things schools want children to be able to do before they start. As an experienced primary school teacher, Olivia shares her knowledge of the Early Year Expectations, but also of the little tips and tricks that make things easier for your child and for their teacher.
We then move on to looking at brain development and developmental milestones that your child needs to reach to be able to fully access learning in a school environment. It is by ensuring that these key abilities are secure that we can give our children the best possible chance of success at school.
Throughout the session we will show you some simple activities you can do at home to help your child prepare both emotionally and developmentally for this big step in their educational journey.
