This specialism is often referred to as Functional Neurology. Janet has carved her expanse of knowledge and expertise through previous careers as a Nurse, Midwife, Health Visitor, and teacher in early years?. Janet works alongside her Husband who is a Neuro-Developmental and Behavioural Optometrist (see www.johnpglover.co.uk).

As well as working with children, families and adults she teaches others in Primitive Reflex Integration and Stimulation. There are other professionals who work alongside Janet when their expertise is needed.

Olivia Thomas

Olivia qualified as a primary school teacher in 2006 and has worked in a number of schools with many children. She came across the issues retained primitive reflexes can cause with her own daughter and has since trained with Janet to become a neuro-developmental therapist.  She is also trained in Johansen Individualised Auditory Stimulation and uses this alongside other therapies to improve outcomes for clients.

Her experience in the classroom enables Olivia to not only work with children to integrate any retained reflexes but to suggest appropriate strategies to aid these children in the classroom on a day to day basis. Having seen first hand children sit through hours of academic interventions and still make limited progress, she is passionate about sharing the importance of integrating primitive reflexes to enable all children to succeed in learning.
